Our Staff

Dr. Kamisugi and his staff are especially interested in making their patients feel right at home! We promise to put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide safe and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending Hawaii Dental Association and Pacific Coast Society conventions.

Front Office Staff
	Colleen Colleen has 17 years of experience and is both our financial coordinator and chair side assistant. She is the financial coordinator but can be seen assisting with patients. In her spare time she enjoys eating, hanging out with friends and family, enjoys walking or hiking for exercise, and loves to travel.
	Chris Chris is the Treatment Coordinator for the office and has been with Dr. Kamisugi for 16 years. Prior to her start, she worked as a chair side dental assistant for about a year then as a secretary for a major retail company for 11 years. Her love for the dental field brought her back to dentistry after the birth of her daughter. She enjoys her position and loves to watch as our patients blossom through their orthodontic experience.
	Harmony Harmony has five years of orthodontic experience and enjoys learning new things every day. She started as a clinical assistant but has recently transitioned to the front office as a receptionist. She currently works part time and is a student at UH Manoa.
	Sandy Sandy is our front office receptionist and has been with Dr. Kamisugi since the beginning of 2009. She has over 20 years of customer service and looks forward to better serving you in the near future. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and Shis Tzus'.
Clinical Staff
	Mary Mary, our office manager, have 29 years of experience. She have attended numerous seminars through the years to keep up on current orthodontic and sterilizing techniques. There have been many changes since she first started and she hopes to continue to grow and do her best at work.
	Cora Cora, our clinical assistant has been working for Dr. Kamisugi for 15 years. When she’s not working with Dr. Kamisugi she can be seen working with his wife Dr. Cynthia Merrick who is a general dentist. She feels that everyday is a learning experience and she enjoys the work that she does.
	Kat Kat has 4 1/2 years of experience working with Dr. Kamisugi. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and dining out.
	Jamie Jamie has 3 years of experience. She works part time and is currently attending college to become a dental hygienist.
	Sue Sue, our clinical assistant, has 29 years of experience. She joined Dr. Kamisugi’s staff 19 months ago. She has 3 dogs, a son, and is married to an executive chef.
	Derrah Derrah has been in the dental field for four years. She recently joined Dr. Kamisugi’s office as a clinical assistant in May 2009. Derrah has a son and enjoys the sport of baseball.
